Il était une fois un petit garçon qui tomba amoureux du journalisme en écoutant les commentaires de matchs à la radio. C'est moi, Augustin, 34 ans aujourd'hui. C'est d'abord dans le sport que j'ai crû en l'espoir de percer dans ce milieu de passionné. Mais je me suis pris un bloc, un vrai. Beaucoup d'appelés, peu d'élus. Tant pis. Curieux de tout, je suis allé voir ailleurs. Dans la presse professionnelle, pour commencer. Le BTP. Génial hein ? Puis dans la PQR, à Nantes, Cholet, Saint-Nazaire. J'ai couvert pour Ouest-France, TéléNantes, 20 Minutes, des sujets variés et complexes de l'actualité. Raconté des histoires très personnelle, visité des entreprises fascinantes, découvert le quotidien de personnes en grande difficulté, partagé la passion de gens ordinaires. En dehors de la presse traditionnelle, j'ai eu l'opportunité d'être recruté par des Youtubeurs (Gaspard G, Amistory, Bruno Maltor...) pour différentes missions : recherche documentaire, écriture de script, prise de contact avec des témoins pour des interviews filmées... Et dernièrement, pour ma propre chaîne Youtube, j'ai réalisé un reportage sur la vie d'un SDF, une rencontre bouleversante qui m'a ouvert le monde impitoyable de la rue. Le film est disponible sur mon site internet. Créatif et autodidacte, je suis à l’origine de la série LA Confidentielle (5 épisodes), reportages décalés sur des lieux interdits en Loire-Atlantique. Co-diffusé sur France 3 Pays de la Loire, ce projet produit par un média associatif m’a permis de coordonner une équipe de techniciens et de participer à toutes les tâches d’un long format, de la préparation de tournage à la réalisation technique, en passant par la recherche documentaire et la post-production. Sérieux et rigoureux, je suis à la recherche de nouvelles missions auprès de créateurs de contenus dans l'écriture de script et la documentation. I have a Level 2 Technical award in graphic design from school, in which I achieved a Level 2 Distinction. This course gave me Photoshop experience, as well as how to use colour theory and design principles in editing adverts and artwork. I spent a lot of time designing logos, flyers, and product packaging. Therefore, I feel I would be well-suited to a role creating thumbnails or designing merchandise, as this is something I am familiar with. I am also familiar with CTR optimisation to help increase views. Previously, when I set up and ran my own small business, I developed excellent sales and marketing skills, and alongside this, I learned to understand the importance of good relationships with consumers when looking to boost sales. I am also a beginner editor with experience in short-form content, looking to expand my abilities into long-form editing too.
