Drawing has been a part of my life since I was in pre-school. As I graduated from high school, the process continued. In the course of my development, it became a burning passion. As the day progresses and as I seek a stable permanent job. I try to draw and edit videos when I can. I hope to find a job that allows me to use my creativity and artistic talent. A recent milestone I accomplished was selling a few characters on Instagram and Twitter (formally known as X.) I'm determined to reach my dream of becoming a successful artist. I'm confident that with hard work and dedication, I can achieve it. I'm always looking for new opportunities to expand my skill set and my knowledge. One of the new things I learned was just how expensive US health care was in comparison to European countries. This has given me an even greater determination to achieve success to ensure my family is secure financially in the future. I'm determined to work hard and do whatever it takes to reach my goal. I'm only just beginning to practice transcription, but I've spent many years listening to long form lectures (in particular, Terence McKenna, Alan Watts, Robert Anton Wilson, and others) and enjoy the opportunity to help those who may be visually impaired or otherwise have a preference for watching with subtitles, or listening to transcribed works being read aloud. Also, I've noticed that automated transcriptions can often mistake certain words and thus provide an inaccurate representation of what the creator spoke, sometimes to the point of coming across to the algorithm as being against community guidelines, thus potentially compromising the creator's account unnecessarily. I'm seeking to develop this skill with creators whose content is along the lines of mind, consciousness, philosophy, psychology, psychedelics, religion, music, nature, language, and the like. My primary interests in life are the aforementioned and so I would view opportunities to assist content creators as a mutual benefit, as I would get to level up my skillset in transcription, as well as get to directly support the transmission of ideas about the same. I also would appreciate the opportunity to get to develop more acute listening skills so as to better grok the various concepts I'm mainly interested in and learn more about them as I go. I consider myself an approachable, teachable, friendly person who is also self-competitive, which is to say I like to work with teams while also having ample time to work independently and level up my skills. I also love words, language, etymologies, etc. and see transcription work as a way to cater to and improve that part of myself. I'll be real quick here . . . I'm a recent college graduate who went back to school after getting my G.E.D. in 1995. I've always had some artistic talent but was never encouraged to pursue anything with it. After I became a Dad, I learned to show my children through example, so I went back to school to show them anything is possible when you put forth effort. I graduated in 2023, with High Honors, holding a degree in Applied Science studying in Advertising & Graphic Design. Now I just wanna use that education, and my experience, to make my family's life a bit better financially. Cool, huh?

Wouldn't it be better to carve your own video style instead of being a clone of someone else who's already doing well? Most people are trying to be like someone else and the result is the viewer will always choose the person you are trying to copy over you. Why? Because they got there first and because they got there first, they are probably much better at it than you. I've been video editing for about 11 years. I am a huge fan of creating cinematic experiences, picking tasteful shots and driving engagement to content. My style is definitely unique, I don't necessarily follow the crowd, however that's exactly what makes it your advantage. Everyone copies the obvious styles, and it quickly becomes dull and stagnant. Those who experiment with new and different styles are the first to get the advantages, then everyone else will copy you.
