As a visual editor with over ten years of experience, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including corporate safety training videos, tv commercials, documentaries, short and feature films. I am skilled in using industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, and I have a keen eye for detail and storytelling. I am constantly seeking new ways to enhance the visual impact of my work and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video editing.
What excites me the most about a visual assistant editors position is the opportunity to work with a team of talented professionals who are passionate about creating innovative and compelling content. I am drawn to your company's commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering high-quality work to clients. I believe that my technical expertise and creative vision align perfectly with your team’s values and goals.
In my previous role as a Video Editor at I-Conn Video Productions and Kokosing River productions, I was responsible for shooting, ingesting, syncing and editing engaging videos for various clients. I collaborated closely with directors, producers, other team members and sometimes the client to bring their vision to life. One of my proudest achievements was to film The JJ Project in Mount Vernon, Ohio where I spent a year documenting the play before, during, and after opening night of the play How To Become A Pirate. I also was assistant editor where I transferred and synced the footage for the eventual final cut of the film. Also my job as 2nd AC on the feature film Looking for the Jackalope filmed in and around Knox County, Ohio. I am confident my strong storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines would make me a valuable addition to your team.
