My name is JC but it stands for something longer. Why don't you try to guess? I'm a video editor with over 5 years of experience in documentary, short fiction, web-series, and promotional content (social media, trailer...). My latest trailer recently reach 17k views on YouTube. I pride myself in my ability to work very closely with my clients, and find ways to fulfill every needs, often going beyond expectations. I'm extremely versatile, therefore I have learned, and am learning, new skills every day.

For most of my life, I ran about two YouTube channels. Both of them reached over 1,000 subscribers. After I decided to stop pursuing it. I enlisted in the United States Navy. I could not finish my training due to medical reasons and was given a medical discharge. After I returned, I regained interest in video production. I am currently enrolled in a film certification at NYU. I now work for a YouTuber that goes by the name Gaming Utopia. I mainly edit his long-form videos and occasionally his short-form videos. I strive to ensure the product I put out would be something I would put for my channel. I always strive to mimic the editing style that my clients prefer. Regardless of how I feel about the video, I always make it known. I want to put you first. I always look for any form of feedback regardless of whether the final product is to your liking or not. Nothing I create is perfect. No matter how big or small the details are. I am very passionate about the creative process. I enjoy the behind-the-scenes nature of working with videos. I like seeing myself in the video as I work. Every project is personal to me, so I treat every video, big or small, with the best care.

I love YouTube! I believe media is the best tool for preserving our history and YouTube is perfect. I'm 30 years old and I've been on the platform since 2014. As an avid admirer of your content and innovative approach to YouTube video creation, I am excited about the opportunity to express my genuine interest in a Video Editor position. Having accumulated over seven years of experience with Premiere Pro, as well as other Adobe software including entry-level skills in After Effects and Animation, I am well-versed in the intricacies and can seamlessly handle projects of varying sizing. I'm able to work well with changing timelines and I have experience editing right alongside multiple producers and content creators. I've worked in many post-production environments, including over 2 years at a major film studio in Burbank, CA.

I'm very passionate about making YouTube and TikTok videos. I tend to make short form content like theory videos and "did you know?" videos. But I'm willing to expand my horizons. I'm a very shy individual. I don't show my own face in my content that much, but I believe my videos at this point in my career are self sufficient without a good looking individual layered over top. I'm also a very active part of many fandoms and communities. I always try to stay positive and steer conversations in a positive direction while at the same time encourage challenging ideas and viewpoints. (Related to the show, actor, game, etc. No politics) I think where I stand out from others is I tend to know what makes people of certain fandoms tick. Whether it's a show or episode that fans are really passionate about or an actor fans want to know about, I will find a way to share an engaging story or short form video about it. And for some reason the algorithms seem to like it. A low effort post I shared on TikTok when I had 12 subscribers reached 1 million in a week. Now I've got a few thousand followers across platforms and many of my videos reach thousands of people. To be honest it's kinda new and kinda strange for me. I've got less than 400 subs on YouTube but hundreds of thousands of views. And I've only been making videos since February. It just feels like a lot. But I'm up for a challenge. Anywhere you need me, I will learn how to be there.

I am currently completing a Master's Degree in Creative Writing after having graduated with a First in my Bachelor's (English & Creative Writing). I have experience in many forms of writing, including scripts, and would love to get started in a job where I can be using my passion to create and learn. I'm interested in many things - crime, literature, history. When I'm not working or writing my novel, I am watching 'Criminal Minds,' nature documentaries, or trying to get my dog to stop barking.

As an aspiring creative professional, I'm excited to embark on a journey that combines my passion for content creation with my background in ideation and collaboration. While this may be my first formal foray into the world of channel management and video editing, my experiences providing ideas for college fest segments and participating in school acts have instilled in me a deep appreciation for the art of storytelling and visual communication. Started when i was young when i wanted to be a youtuber, along the paths i learn blender. 3 years of learning basic's, i became a animator. And i Love It!! And im Still learning everything on how to better my animations. But now i also am testing out photoshop to make thumbnails for my YouTube Channel!! I Have gain 100 subs in a span of 2 months!!

Your origin story: I grew up in a family of four, raised by a single mom who couldn't always afford to buy us new clothes, so we thrifted a lot. While at the time it was a chore, eventually it became a passion of mine. Every thrift trip became a challenge to find treasures and i always came home with pieces that i'd personally picked and soon i'd start thrifting for full outfits. My friends and i also traded clothes and lended each-other pieces. By the time i was in my late teens and early twenties i was thrifting to sell on platforms like Poshmark, Ebay, Offer Up and eventually Depop. A recent milestone or accomplishment: A recent milestone in my life is reaching 884 sales on my Depop shop. I started selling vintage thrift finds on the Depop platform a few years ago for fun, i later started taking it seriously and now i have built a stream of income that helps pay for all the fun activities. Something new you learned: Iv'e learned that your mind has the power to help you accomplish almost anything, even what seems impossible. What you're passionate about: I'm passionate about People, Jesus, creating art in different forms, modeling, fashion and styling. How you can help where others can't: I am here for the creatively challenged folks, for those with creative mental blocks. Here for people who have a vision and don't know how to go about it, or those who just need extra hands creating. I am a homemaker, which means I stay at home to take care of the household needs and to take care of the kids. This also means that I had time to study and hone my skills in entertainment production. I had the unique opportunity to gain more skill in video editing, video/ film production and graphic design by taking online courses with Full Sail University online alongside my husband. We successfully graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Cinematography. This degree program was quite difficult, especially with the kids running around, but we managed. Now I am looking for an opportunity to further develop these new skills with YouTubers that have already established their presence on YouTube. I can assure you that I am very proficient and professional when it comes to ceating, editing and managing new content. I am also skilled at writing and editing scripts. My attention to detail is excellent and my creativity is outstanding. I am 100% confident with my abilities to go above and beyond limitations to push past obstacles and find a solution to problems that may arise. And if all that isn't enough, I am also a veteran of the armed forces. Which means I have gone through mental and physical challenges and have developed a strong will to better myself and help my country get through these times of frustration. With my creative mind and proficiency in video production and post production I am confident that I am more than capable of helping others with their content.
