Original Productions is seeking a highly skilled, creative and self-sufficient video editor with a sharp comedic sensibility and a strong eye for style. Must bring original ideas, a knack for elevating moments with effects, and a passion for crafting content that enhances the humor and personality of a comedic show on YouTube. The ideal candidate thrives under tight deadlines, and has a proven track record of delivering top-quality work. Must have experience editing comedic visual podcasts on YouTube and be able to provide samples of work.
Responsibilities:
- Edit high-quality visual comedic podcasts on YouTube channels, with a focus on editing for YouTube engagement
- Ensure smooth pacing, comedic timing, and polished visuals to enhance storytelling, including pre-built graphics
- Utilize advanced features of Adobe
- Has experience with optimizing content on YouTube channels, including formatting, and SEO-friendly edits.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience editing comedic visual podcasts and content on YouTube, specifically long-form (1 hour +)
- Mastery of Adobe Premiere and other editing software
- Proven ability to work efficiently under fast-paced schedules
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional video editing skills and creativity
