- Collaboration: Work with the team to align animations and edits with video scripts and ensure consistency in visual style and tone.
- Content Enhancement: Simplify complex maritime and engineering concepts using animations and clear visuals to make the content more digestible and engaging.
-
Quality Control: Ensure all videos meet high-quality standards and are optimized for YouTube, including correct formatting, transitions, and visual effects.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an animator and video editor, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your animation and editing skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred, but we are open to candidates proficient in other video editing or animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Blender, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong understanding of animation principles, video editing workflows, and motion design.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing educational content.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Blender, Adobe Animate, or similar).
- Strong video editing skills such as but not limited to Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects.
- Familiarity with YouTube video specs, video optimization techniques, and best practices for engaging audiences.
- Knowledge of sound editing or the ability to work with sound designers is a plus.
