The mission
Grow Hairguard’s YouTube channel: subscribers, daily views, and revenue - through a consistent pipeline of high-performing long-form and short-form content.
You’ll also help adapt winning creative into Meta ads and repurpose across TikTok/Instagram as needed.
What you’ll do
Own YouTube growth strategy: content pillars, packaging strategy, cadence, and experimentation roadmap.
Research + ideate: identify trends, competitor patterns, audience pain points, and angles that will win in the hair-loss space.
Develop content plans: build weekly/monthly calendars for long-form + Shorts; define hypotheses and success metrics.
Write + direct: create outlines, hooks, scripts, and creative briefs that editors can execute to your intended quality.
Manage editors: run the production workflow end-to-end (brief → draft → feedback → publish), maintaining speed and quality.
Packaging & iteration: titles/thumbnails direction, rapid testing, and post-launch iteration based on performance.
Cross-platform repurposing: turn winners into Shorts, TikTok/IG formats, and occasionally ad creatives (Meta).
Performance reviews: weekly channel reviews, learnings, and next actions (what worked, what didn’t, what we’re testing next).
What this role is / isn’t
Not an editor role. You won’t be spending all day cutting footage.
Yes: you will be the primary brain behind the formulation of videos, the director of video production and the owner of video quality.
Must-haves
Excellent copywriting skills, and the ability to adapt various tones for different uses.
Strong instincts for hooks, retention, pacing, storytelling, and packaging.
Excellent research + scripting ability (turn complex topics into compelling narratives).
Experience managing editors/creative production pipelines.
Comfortable working with data (CTR, AVD, retention curves, traffic sources) and turning it into decisions.
Strong taste + ability to give clear feedback and uphold a creative standard.
Nice-to-haves
Youtube growth or YouTube studio operation.
Experience in health/wellness, controversial/education-heavy topics, or “belief-shifting” content.
Direct response creative experience (Meta/TikTok ads).
Familiarity with YouTube documentary-style long-form.
Why join
Work directly with an amazing international team in a fast growing company.
We’re solving a real, meaningful problem that makes a big difference in people’s lives.
The role can evolve into broader Head of Content /
Multi-platform Growth as the team scales.
Performance bonuses in terms of subscriber growth has massive potential.
This is a full-time, well paid role with good bonuses and big growth potential, and working along side an amazing team.
