Video Editor and Videographer (Miami, FL)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hybrid Videographer, Creative Engineer, and Video Editor to lead the development of our automated, long-form and short-form video production engine. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional motion design and software engineering by building dynamic, data-driven video templates using tools like Remotion. You will connect these templates to advanced generative AI APIs to orchestrate a fully automated pipeline, producing high-quality, branded social media longs, shorts and website assets at scale.

Filming Subjects: Canon EOS
Video Composition Framework: Remotion (React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS)
AI Intelligence & Orchestration: Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini 1.5 Pro / Flash)
Audio & Avatars: HeyGen API, ElevenLabs API
Cinematic B-Roll: Higgsfield API
Cloud Infrastructure & Asset Storage: AWS S3, AWS Lambda (for Remotion multi-threaded rendering)
Distribution & Video Embeds: Wistia API, YouTube / Instagram / TikTok APIs, Google Cloud

What you'll be doing:

Programmatic Video Templates: Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, data-driven video templates using Remotion (React) that automatically adjust layout, text length, and aspect ratios (9:16 shorts).
AI Asset Integration: Connect video templates to Google Cloud Vertex AI to dynamically feed scripts, captions, and visual data into the video rendering pipeline.
Talking Head & B-Roll Layering: Implement automated workflows that pull green-screen avatar video clips from HeyGen, remove backgrounds, and layer them cleanly over AI-generated B-roll from Higgsfield.
Audio & Caption Timing: Programmatically synchronize ElevenLabs audio tracks with text overlays to create engaging, dynamic, and perfectly-timed kinetic captions within Remotion.
Scalable Cloud Rendering: Configure and deploy Remotion rendering clusters on AWS Lambda to allow simultaneous, fast rendering of multiple short-form videos.
Wistia & Social Deployment: Automate the post-render pipeline to format videos to required naming conventions and instantly upload them to Wistia for website deployment or push them to social media APIs.

Technical & Creative Requirements

Programmatic Editing: Proven experience using Remotion to build web-based video components, transitions, and audio-visual layouts.
Frontend Development: Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks (like Tailwind) applied specifically to video animation.
Cloud Architecture: Familiarity with AWS S3 for asset storage and Google Cloud Vertex AI for managing AI model prompts and outputs.
Creative Eye: A strong background in traditional video editing or motion design principles (timing, pacing, typography, framing) to ensure automated videos look premium and on-brand.
