About the Channel:
Hair Tutorials with Bekah is a growing YouTube channel focused on hair transformations, before-and-after results, product recommendations, follow-along guides, styling tips, and educational beauty content. Our goal is to create visually engaging, informative, and polished videos that are easy to watch and highly shareable.
Responsibilities
- Edit 1–10 minute YouTube videos with a clean, modern style
- Create engaging pacing, cuts, and transitions
- Enhance audio quality and balance levels
- Color correct / lightly color grade footage
- Add text overlays, graphics, and callouts when needed
- Insert B-roll, product shots, and before/after visuals
- Sync multi-camera footage when applicable
- Export videos in YouTube-optimized formats
- Deliver edits on agreed timelines
Ideal Editing Style
We’re looking for edits that are:
- Clean, polished, and professional
- Not overly flashy or distracting
- Well-paced and engaging
- Similar to beauty / tutorial / lifestyle YouTube content
- Focused on clarity and viewer retention
Requirements
- Prior experience editing YouTube videos (beauty content preferred)
- Strong sense of pacing and storytelling
- Ability to add clean text and simple graphics
- Good audio editing skills
- Reliable turnaround times
- Comfortable receiving footage via cloud storage
- Able to follow a consistent editing style
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with beauty, hair, or tutorial content
- Thumbnail creation skills
- Motion graphics experience
- Understanding of YouTube viewer retention
Workflow
- Footage provided via Dropbox / Drive
- Basic editing guidelines provided
- Limited revision rounds (clear initial edits expected)
- Ongoing work for the right editor
