As YouTube Channel Manager at Animaj, you’ll help build the next global kids’ franchise. Your mission: turn our IPs into worldwide YouTube hits through innovative strategy, great storytelling, and a deep understanding of what kids love.
You’ll own the channel end to end - from planning and publishing to creative presentation and performance analysis. Every thumbnail, title, and playlist you optimise helps make our content a fun and trusted part of children’s everyday entertainment and content discovery.
You’ll dive into data and competitive insights to refine our approach, shape content strategy, and guide programming and marketing decisions.
Based in London, but collaborating closely with our team in Paris, you’ll join an international team driven by one goal: to inspire and entertain kids everywhere through meaningful, high-quality content.
Responsibilities
- YouTube Channel Management: Manage our YouTube channels, including uploading videos, streamlining and optimising metadata, and holistically managing content and playlists. Your contribution will ensure that our channels have a consistent publishing strategy and offer engaging and relevant content for our audience.
- Dynamic Channel Optimisation: Maximise the performance of our channels by working on their SEO, analysing video performance, and optimising metadata to increase content impressions, average view duration, and watch time.
- Creative Design: Create graphic designs for our brands on YouTube (thumbnails, banners, etc.), meticulously crafted according to our highest quality standards and the graphic guidelines set for each brand.
- Cross-Platform Integration: Ensure IP branding and content consistency across multiple digital platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Preferred experience:
- Proven track record with 2-3+ years managing high-performing YouTube channels focused on Kids and Family audiences.
- YouTube Certified, with a deep and current knowledge of the YouTube platform; knowledge of Content ID
- Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with Adobe After Effects is a bonus.
- Strong experience in branding, typography, and design, with a focus on Animated Content and Live Action for Kids.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to build things, design and implement system/process improvements.
