🎥 YouTube Channel Manager Wanted – Help Give People a Voice on Political Change

We’ve launched a platform — both a website and a YouTube channel — that gives people the chance to share how political changes have directly impacted their lives. Whether it's new legislation, funding cuts, policy shifts, or reform efforts, every decision has a human story behind it. We want to tell those stories — truthfully, powerfully, and accessibly.
We’re looking for a YouTube Channel Manager to help shape and grow this mission.
🔧 What You'll Do:
- Oversee the YouTube Channel: Organize the layout, playlists, and video categories for ease of navigation and engagement.
- Manage Submissions: Review and approve user-submitted videos to ensure they meet our guidelines and support the platform’s purpose.
- Curate and Publish Content: Work with contributors to post compelling, relevant stories as new political topics emerge.
- Promote the Channel: Develop and implement strategies to advertise videos and attract new viewers and contributors.
- Stay Ahead of the News: Monitor political developments to identify relevant themes and invite new submissions based on emerging issues.
👤 Who You Are:
- Passionate about politics, current events, and human impact stories
- Organized, responsible, and proactive
- Experienced with YouTube (channel management, analytics, and content strategy)
- Comfortable reviewing sensitive personal stories with empathy and fairness
- Marketing or social media experience is a big plus
