What You’ll Do:
- Research assigned topics thoroughly, using reputable sources
- Write original, engaging scripts (2,000–3,500 words) in the style and voice of "The Why Files"
- Break down complex ideas into clear, entertaining narratives
- Collaborate with our editorial team for feedback and revisions
- Meet deadlines and communicate proactively
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience writing YouTube scripts, especially for educational or documentary-style channels
- Strong research and storytelling skills
- Ability to match our channel’s tone: curious, skeptical, witty, and accessible
- Interest in mysteries, science, history, and the unexplained
- Excellent written English
Compensation:
- Per-word or per-script (above average rates)
- Ongoing, long-term collaboration for the right candidates
