I'm a video editor and motion graphics artist who genuinely enjoys solving creative problems. Whether I'm working with raw footage or building an entire sequence from scratch in After Effects, I like finding the best way to communicate an idea visually. I pay a lot of attention to pacing, storytelling, and the small details that make a video feel polished and intentional. Most of my skills are self taught through years of creating personal projects, freelance work, and constantly pushing myself to learn new techniques. I enjoy experimenting with new tools, especially AI assisted workflows, but I believe they're there to enhance creativity, not replace it. Strong editing decisions and good storytelling will always come first. One thing that sets me apart is my versatility. I'm not just someone who cuts footage together. I can create motion graphics, animated explainers, marketing videos, visual effects, and graphics from scratch when a project calls for it. That means I can contribute creatively at every stage of production rather than simply following instructions. I'm always looking to improve, take feedback seriously, and learn something new from every project. My goal is to create work that not only looks good but also serves a purpose, whether that's entertaining an audience, explaining a complex idea, or helping a business achieve better results.

My name is Vasilii. I hold two university degrees: one in Management and another in Television Directing. I have over six years of experience in television production, having progressed from Video Editor to Live Broadcast Director. Throughout my career, I have gained hands-on experience across virtually every stage of TV production and have a deep understanding of how live broadcasting works from content preparation to the final on-air output. I have worked on news, sports, and entertainment productions, including live broadcasts. In addition to directing, I have extensive experience in video editing, motion graphics, and broadcast design, which allows me to work confidently both in the control room and in post-production. For me, the job title is less important than contributing to the team. I am ready to work as a Video Editor, Broadcast Graphics Designer, Motion Designer, Assistant Director, Live Broadcast Assistant Director, or Live Broadcast Director. I adapt quickly to new workflows, perform well under tight deadlines, and understand the level of responsibility that live television demands. My greatest strength is the combination of a director's creative vision with the technical expertise of an editor and motion graphics designer. This enables me to collaborate effectively with every department involved in production and make fast, confident decisions in high-pressure live broadcast environments.

I'm a motion designer and video editor who specializes in long-form documentary content for YouTube. For over a year I've been the sole editor and animator on That's Paul, a travel documentary channel covering Latin America — I handle everything from raw footage to final delivery: editing, color, sound, and the animated historical segments that have become the channel's signature element. Episodes run 30–60 minutes, so I know what it takes to hold attention in long-form: pacing, story structure, and knowing when to let a moment breathe. What makes me different is the full pipeline. Most editors don't animate, and most animators don't edit — I do both, plus 3D in Blender when a story needs it. That means a channel gets one person with one consistent visual language instead of coordinating between two or three freelancers. My collage animation style — archival photos, maps, and illustrated elements brought to life — was built specifically for documentary storytelling, inspired by the editorial work of Vox and Johnny Harris. I've spent 7 years in video production, working with 80+ clients across media, retail, and industrial sectors — but long-form documentary is where I want to go deep. I'm looking for channels that care about storytelling and want a reliable creative partner who delivers week after week, not just an editor who executes a brief.
