I've been writing for over seven years now and am in the process of editing my novel. I love words and I've got alphabet soup running through my veins. I crave creative outlets like a vampire after blood. Therefore, I attended vocational school for all things media creation and now have a very wide skillset. I'm Nikesh Malik, a passionate content writer and editor based in Thane, India. For most of my life, I ran about two YouTube channels. Both of them reached over 1,000 subscribers. After I decided to stop pursuing it. I enlisted in the United States Navy. I could not finish my training due to medical reasons and was given a medical discharge. After I returned, I regained interest in video production. I am currently enrolled in a film certification at NYU. I now work for a YouTuber that goes by the name Gaming Utopia. I mainly edit his long-form videos and occasionally his short-form videos. I strive to ensure the product I put out would be something I would put for my channel. I always strive to mimic the editing style that my clients prefer. Regardless of how I feel about the video, I always make it known. I want to put you first. I always look for any form of feedback regardless of whether the final product is to your liking or not. Nothing I create is perfect. No matter how big or small the details are. I am very passionate about the creative process. I enjoy the behind-the-scenes nature of working with videos. I like seeing myself in the video as I work. Every project is personal to me, so I treat every video, big or small, with the best care.

I love YouTube! I believe media is the best tool for preserving our history and YouTube is perfect. I'm 30 years old and I've been on the platform since 2014. As an avid admirer of your content and innovative approach to YouTube video creation, I am excited about the opportunity to express my genuine interest in a Video Editor position. Having accumulated over seven years of experience with Premiere Pro, as well as other Adobe software including entry-level skills in After Effects and Animation, I am well-versed in the intricacies and can seamlessly handle projects of varying sizing. I'm able to work well with changing timelines and I have experience editing right alongside multiple producers and content creators. I've worked in many post-production environments, including over 2 years at a major film studio in Burbank, CA.

I'm very passionate about making YouTube and TikTok videos. I tend to make short form content like theory videos and "did you know?" videos. But I'm willing to expand my horizons. I'm a very shy individual. I don't show my own face in my content that much, but I believe my videos at this point in my career are self sufficient without a good looking individual layered over top. I'm also a very active part of many fandoms and communities. I always try to stay positive and steer conversations in a positive direction while at the same time encourage challenging ideas and viewpoints. (Related to the show, actor, game, etc. No politics) I think where I stand out from others is I tend to know what makes people of certain fandoms tick. Whether it's a show or episode that fans are really passionate about or an actor fans want to know about, I will find a way to share an engaging story or short form video about it. And for some reason the algorithms seem to like it. A low effort post I shared on TikTok when I had 12 subscribers reached 1 million in a week. Now I've got a few thousand followers across platforms and many of my videos reach thousands of people. To be honest it's kinda new and kinda strange for me. I've got less than 400 subs on YouTube but hundreds of thousands of views. And I've only been making videos since February. It just feels like a lot. But I'm up for a challenge. Anywhere you need me, I will learn how to be there.

Your origin story: I grew up in a family of four, raised by a single mom who couldn't always afford to buy us new clothes, so we thrifted a lot. While at the time it was a chore, eventually it became a passion of mine. Every thrift trip became a challenge to find treasures and i always came home with pieces that i'd personally picked and soon i'd start thrifting for full outfits. My friends and i also traded clothes and lended each-other pieces. By the time i was in my late teens and early twenties i was thrifting to sell on platforms like Poshmark, Ebay, Offer Up and eventually Depop. A recent milestone or accomplishment: A recent milestone in my life is reaching 884 sales on my Depop shop. I started selling vintage thrift finds on the Depop platform a few years ago for fun, i later started taking it seriously and now i have built a stream of income that helps pay for all the fun activities. Something new you learned: Iv'e learned that your mind has the power to help you accomplish almost anything, even what seems impossible. What you're passionate about: I'm passionate about People, Jesus, creating art in different forms, modeling, fashion and styling. How you can help where others can't: I am here for the creatively challenged folks, for those with creative mental blocks. Here for people who have a vision and don't know how to go about it, or those who just need extra hands creating.
