Transcribe videos so viewers can have video content in written form

I'm only just beginning to practice transcription, but I've spent many years listening to long form lectures (in particular, Terence McKenna, Alan Watts, Robert Anton Wilson, and others) and enjoy the opportunity to help those who may be visually impaired or otherwise have a preference for watching with subtitles, or listening to transcribed works being read aloud. Also, I've noticed that automated transcriptions can often mistake certain words and thus provide an inaccurate representation of what the creator spoke, sometimes to the point of coming across to the algorithm as being against community guidelines, thus potentially compromising the creator's account unnecessarily.

I'm seeking to develop this skill with creators whose content is along the lines of mind, consciousness, philosophy, psychology, psychedelics, religion, music, nature, language, and the like. My primary interests in life are the aforementioned and so I would view opportunities to assist content creators as a mutual benefit, as I would get to level up my skillset in transcription, as well as get to directly support the transmission of ideas about the same. I also would appreciate the opportunity to get to develop more acute listening skills so as to better grok the various concepts I'm mainly interested in and learn more about them as I go.

I consider myself an approachable, teachable, friendly person who is also self-competitive, which is to say I like to work with teams while also having ample time to work independently and level up my skills. I also love words, language, etymologies, etc. and see transcription work as a way to cater to and improve that part of myself.
