Stage Manager

I have experience working on shows during my training at Guildford School of Acting as both a Deputy Stage Manager and a Stage Manager. I have helped prop shows and called various performances through my undergrad at Anglia Ruskin where I helped stage manage fifteen student performances. I also have run technical sessions, created health and safety paperwork as well as follow spotted for a production.

I enjoy working in a busy environment with constantly evolving work. I have found I thrive with being given a list of tasks and enjoy helping people with whatever they require me to do. I have always had an interest in media both on stage and off and want to experience every facet of it. I have also helped with rigging lights, cutting gels and wish to learn more about the technical sides of theatre and concerts.

Beyond working in my field, I have worked at CEX as a supervisor, which included organising products and preparing them for sale as well as testing items coming in for sale to make sure they are functioning to the correct standards. I feel that my time in this role has given me experience and skills that are translatable in the realm of theatre. I am good at cleaning up items to make them look better, as well as being able to wrap them safely for transport should the prop not be collected from the theatre.
