Senior Creative Specialist (design, editing, strategy, copywriting)
Private informationDescription
I have been a graphic designer since high school and have always had a passion for visual storytelling. My career so far has brought me to every corner of digital media with an array of experiences and skills picked up along the way. I have worked in broadcast creating on-air, social media, and digital assets for top market local news stations. I have worked for the Governor of Colorado, creating marketing material and communication graphics for the State of Colorado. I was able to work with Pat McAfee as he launched his independent YouTube channel that would go on to become one of the biggest sports media franchises in the world.
My most recent role is what sharpened my skills for YouTube content the most. As the creative director for Action Network, I was able to not only create the brand identity for an up-and-coming sports media YouTube page, I was able to play a major part in the strategy and execution that led to it's sucess. Everything from the perfect thumbnail to stop a scroll, the editing practices that produce high quality in an effecient amount of time, to the programming that tells the right stories at the right times. This led to a YouTube page that started from nothing and now has multiple shows that run multiple times a week delivering high-quality content to hundreds and thousands of viewers.
I also recently stepped in front of the camera as a host for Screen Rant. This side of it has shown me how important it is to have a team connected from top to bottom to create the best content possible.
I am passionate about telling stories in a way that audiences keep coming back to. Nothing is better than people who are passionate about the things they are passionate about. YouTube is the ultimate vehicle for connecting those creators with their fans.
