English-Chinese and Chinese-English translator experienced in captioning YouTube vids

Since my teenage years, I have had an immense interest in assuring effective communication and understanding between people speaking different languages. Inspired by captioners and subtitlers on YouTube, I started a channel putting Chinese subtitles on English-speaking videos, under the original creators' authorisation. The channel once reached over 10,000 subscribers, mostly from Taiwan and Hong Kong, which I am really proud of. I have translated projects such as the Princess Rap Battles by creator Whitney Avalon and skits by creator Rclbeauty101.

I am also a certified English teacher, having taught students ranging from children to immigrants, professionals and more, which gives me ample confidence in understanding different contexts and backgrounds.
