Investigative reporter with research, audio, video experience
Private informationDescription
I’m a journalist and filmmaker who tells stories about the human brain, resilience, and the systems that shape our lives. My career began in public radio, where I learned how to distill complicated topics into stories that feel personal and real. That curiosity led me to investigate my own neurological condition and turn that process into System Disrupted, a feature documentary that explores the science, stigma, and human cost of functional neurological disorder.
My strength is connecting rigorous reporting with emotional clarity. I approach storytelling like an investigation, but I also care deeply about tone, pacing, and honesty. I build trust with subjects, understand how to navigate sensitive material, and look for meaning in the details others might overlook.
I’m interested in projects that make people think differently about health, identity, and the systems we rely on. Whether I’m producing a film, editing a story, or building a digital campaign, I focus on revealing truth in a way that feels both intimate and precise.
