That early fascination led me to experiment with Machinima in Halo Reach and Halo 4, teaching myself After Effects and Photoshop to create cinematic narratives. Over the years, I honed my craft through hands-on experience in short films, commercial work, and corporate video production, ultimately leading me to my role as a video producer at Element 7 Productions. Sila Pehlivan was born in April 2004 in Bad Nauheim, Hesse. From an early age, Sila demonstrated a keen interest in the performing arts, which was nurtured through junior high and high school. During these formative years, Sila began writing, directing and acting in plays. After high school, Sila embarked on a journey in Thessaloniki, Greece. This period was marked by a search for deeper personal and artistic understanding. Following this enriching experience, Sila pursued an internship in Istanbul with a film production company, working closely with the director Kivanc Baruönü. This internship was a pivotal time, as it provided hands-on experience in filmmaking and directing, further solidifying Sila’s passion for the cinematic arts. In spring of 2024, Sila wrote and directed her first short film. In this project Sila took on multiple roles, including producing and cinematography. Simultaneously, Sila began a writing project for a theatre in Augsburg, she also was the directing assistant in that play. “What inspires me?” This quest has been the driving force behind the diverse artistic and academic pursuits. Sila studies sociology and philosophy in Frankfurt . This academic pursuit reflects a desire to deepen understanding of societal structures and dynamics, with the ultimate goal of integrating these insights into art.

I've been editing footage that I've taken myself and my friends to music since middle school. From Nightcore and to Tupac (she's versatile). During highschool I joined a various clubs who were interested in recording content to promote themselves during open house/post online so that it was accessible for members who missed meetings. From then on I've been emersed in photography, videography, and most importantly editing. Unfortunately between unsupportive parents, a fear of debt, and graduating in 2020 I didn't pursue my passions and went into a technical school and got an AAS in Business Tech cause it was free and "practical" blah blah. I immediate got a job that wasn't even remotely in my field (which lasted all of a year) spent the year after in limbo and now I'm returning to my roots! I've taken the time to learn the proper techniques for editing and have even tried my hand at YouTube. I'll return to it at some point but first is like to work as an editor!

I can create/edit videos within any range of editing style, being quick and efficient while still providing quality content. I am also capable of editing audio to match desired volume, as well as doing further effects to really captivate audiences viewing the content. I am able to work with clients to help ease their load of the creative process, while still listening to their requests and opinions. I currently use Wondershare Filmora 14 as my editing software of choice, since I have been using it for 4+ years. I have learned how to edit videos on my own through using many kinds of editing apps and software since I was young. Some include, Windows Movie Maker, IMovie, and CapCut. I am passionate about creating content that people can enjoy, without adding too much/too little, making it seem unwatchable or overbearing. I am willing to learn to use media I have never used previously in my time editing and creating videos (for my own personal use or for others, like friends, in the past).

I have been a director in film advertising for more than 10 years. I have also worked in feature films, scripted and unscripted television as well as advertising as a Producer and UPM. I have also lot of equipment, technical and field experience. I have travelled the world shooting big advertising campaigns, in the America’s, Middle East, Europe and Asia. I enjoyed every bit of it. But the corporate world has just become to intent in controlling every aspect of production and is killing creativity and new avenues, so as a director or even a producer, I got tired of working for brands, studios or corporate management. I am looking at YouTube as the present and future of media, a huge market of opportunity and creative freedom still untapped and seemingly free from the traditional corporate entities.

I like seeing the bright side in things, making people laugh making funny edits or funny drawings. Occasionally I try to branch out into other things but I prefer to do things with other people and have projects with other people. I spent a good bit of my life drawing and as much as I want to do it has a career I tend to struggle to find jobs for that kind of thing. Editing and drawing I learned pretty quickly by watching some of my favorite youtubers. I'm not the brightest person in the world I definitely make mistakes or things go over my head. Sometimes that's the best person to have in the group because my mind is most likely gonna find a completely different or not even needed solution. I'm still learning how to edit and draw but they are my best abilities and I at least try to put a lot of passion into them. I guess my other known abilities is just random stuff I know. I know a lot about movies, pop culture, Zelda, Yugioh, and I'm just a pretty big nerd which I'm pretty passionate about all of those things.
