Hei, welcome to my profile. Happy to have you here. I am Janett from Dresden, Germany, and I am dedicated to postproduction, editing visual content and creating motion designs. Since 2016 I am happy to be part of multiple projects in different genres. I began with music videos and travel films, started to edit videos for companys and got more and more experience in image videos and commercials. In 2021 I was pleased to be part of the cinematic collective "Generation Tochter" and I could edit a feature film which led to different short movies such as "Tabu La Rasa" (Emma Bading 2022), "EDEN3030" and "3 Geschichten Von Morgen" (both H. + P. Meining 2023/2025). The most fun part of video editing is learning so many things about the world through the editing process. As I really need to understand a certain topic - otherwise the editing would not be as good as it could - so I am really interested in editing scientific videos. In recent years I was able to edit content for the excellence cluster "ct.qmat" which is about quantum materials and quantum phenomena - which really excites me since I started editing. Everything wrapped up: * experienced in storytelling in multiple genres (from commercials to documentary to features films) * good feeling for pace and visual flow * reliable and serious about briefings, deadlines and deliveries * good communication skills (german/english) * able to do all in one postproduction (means editing / sound editing / sound enhancement / mixing / 2d motion graphics / colorcorrection / colorgrading / mastering / archiving) * reviewing via frame.io Used Software: * DaVinci Resolve * Premiere Pro * After Effects I am really interested in editing videos to shape a better future, to share knowledge and to make information accessible for everyone <3

Good day! Last case: In 2 months, the channel gained more than a million subscribers. And got into the top 20 fastest growing channels in the world in the entertainment genre. Led a network of YouTube channels. (More than 300 channels in different languages). Record for views on a long video: 130+ million views. Record for shorts: 360+ million views. My name is Mahabbat. I worked as a storyboard artist, editor, YouTube producer. I know how to tell interesting stories with the help of video. And millions of views confirm this. I worked in the children's niche, for example, Barada challenge, GL Show, etc. The videos were often in trends. I also do challenges for a more adult audience (in the style of Mr Beast) Due to the fact that I often conducted interviews for various positions, I have a database of contractors. Worked with popular bloggers (with more than 10 million subscribers), also made a podcast for a Hollywood TV star, King Bach, Ceaser Millano (National Geographic host), and recently did a project where there were top YouTube bloggers (Like Nastya, Mr Beasts team, etc.) I do not only make entertainment content, but also expert content. Channel about style and fashion. One of the first videos (horizontal) gained 150 thousand views on the new channel. And the vertical video gained more than 8 million views. Also hosted a furniture channel in the premium segment. Made videos for medicine. For example, Doctor Ales Ulishchenko, Doctor Length. This content also gained hundreds of thousands and millions of views on Instagram. I had experience in directing, storyboarding, editing. In my free time I make cartoons (2D, 3D, stop motion) and draw comics. I have taken and am taking various courses, master classes (Aaron Blaise, Animation School, etc.). I have been working in the YouTube sphere for over 4 years. I think I will be able to tell you more about my experience with examples at the interview. Thus, from scratch I built several departments in different directions. I have a base of editors for any level and price. I know editing, animation, storytelling, etc., because I started as a performer. I have relevant experience working at all stages of production on million-plus channels, not only Russian, but also foreign. Thank you!

Video Editing

I’ve been into video editing for about a year and a half now, and it’s honestly one of the creative things I enjoy most. Over time, I’ve gotten a solid feel for what works and what doesn’t, and while I know nothing’s ever going to be 100% perfect, I always try to keep my videos clean, smooth, and entertaining. I’m big on making things visually neat and easy to watch—no jarring cuts or awkward transitions—because I want people to stay engaged the whole way through. I use Adobe Express as my go-to editing platform. It’s simple but effective, and it gives me enough creative freedom to shape the video how I want without bogging me down with too many complicated settings. For the kind of editing I do, it works great. Whether I’m throwing together something quick or spending a little more time finessing the details, Adobe Express lets me stay efficient while still doing good work. When it comes to speed, I’ve gotten pretty quick. On average, I can edit a 15-minute video in about 20 to 30 minutes. Sometimes it’s faster, sometimes I take more time depending on how busy things are or how complicated the footage is. But I’ve found a good balance between speed and quality, and I’m always learning new tricks to make the process even smoother. It’s kind of become second nature at this point—just fire up the project, figure out the rhythm, and start cutting. I’ve edited everything from casual content to roleplay-style videos, and each project feels a little different. I like the challenge of figuring out how to make each one flow the right way—what music fits, what moments should stand out, and how to keep it visually interesting without overdoing it. Even when it’s something simple, I still want it to have a clean look and feel intentional. The cool part is that even after doing this for a while, I’m still improving. I notice little things now that I probably wouldn’t have a few months back—like where to trim a clip for better pacing or how to layer effects without making them distracting. It’s definitely a creative outlet for me, and I always look forward to the next edit.
