Video Editing

I first started videography after spending many years as a photographer. I was just curious so decided to try it out. That led to me gaining a huge respect for this art form and it also becoming my passion. I now have a degree in film production technology, 4 short films under my belt as a Director of Photography, one documentary as a Director of Photography, and also 6 BBC Introducing shoots as a Director of Photography including 2 live shows. My passion as a Director of photography stems from my love for making shots look as beautiful as possible. If you want your videos to take a huge step up in visual quality, I can do that. Another benefit to me is that I own all of my own equipment. This includes the magnificent Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro 12k cinema camera. This would be one hell of a USP for YouTubers as the specs and capabilities of that camera mean we can create just about anything that you could imagine. It is an incredible slow motion camera as well, shooting 8k up to 120fps and 4k up to 240fps. I’m also a certified drone pilot so this just adds another layer of possibility on top. I feel like my passion and extensive knowledge of this craft is my biggest strength, and along with my top of the line equipment it really is a recipe for excellent looking content. I’m also a video editor, editing all of the projects listed above myself. I have about 6 years of experience with Davinci Resolve and have my own studio version that I can utilise for you. The link to my channel doesn’t seem to work. Just search Macklan Sherratt. Thank you.

Composer, Sound-Designer // Writer, Visual Artist and Editorial Assistant,

Writing

Hi, For the past few years, my main activity has been composing music and sound designing for diverse clients from luxury to sporting events and short movies (Accor Hotels, Kenzo, Lonsdale MD, IFM Paris, Arès FC...). During this time, I managed to focus on my own creative endeavors, ranging from audio fiction, live music, story writing, illustration and all around entertainment. Oddly enough, most of those skills were refined through part-time work with kindergarten institutions around paris, where i taught myself how to refine my entertainment to make it accessible : writing and illustrating small books for children based on the scenarios that I'd written for my live musical narrative shows. Recently, Thanks to the narrative and editorial skills I developed through my personal projects, I've been helping fiction and documentary producers with editorial help, dramaturgical and stylistic boosts. In both cases, although we'd started working as a pair of composer/director, my skills as an editorial assistant were always highly regarded. I'm obviously very passionate about music and consider myself highly versatile in writing pieces that - although expressed in whatever style you might ask for - will always have that personal touch that'll make them stand out. At the same time, as a writer and illustrator, I'm equally passionate about litterature, from classics to manga or any type of comics, video-games and movies. Having been educated in both english and french, I'm extremely confortable with both languages and love doing redactional work, including translations. I'm comfortable working with software like Logic Pro, Pro Tools or Final Cut Pro for additional editing work. Having been a high performing student through five years of post-graduate studies in a very competitive system, I'm a very quick learner and love working to offer the best my abilities can reach. My goal is to help you with all I have, I'm available and can't wait to push any ambitious creatives with their project to make it the best it can be !

Writer and artist with a focus on marketing and engagement

Writing

I have a BA in Professional Writing, real-world experience in an office doing bookkeeping and marketing, and have spent more than half of my life selling my work on the side. I have a wide skillset and the knowledge to bring many moving parts together into a cohesive vision. As an artist and crafter, I have been selling my work at craft shows since my teens. In recent years, I have also been selling small items on Etsy. While my business is a side project, it has given me experience managing social media, branding, design, and web editing that translated well into a professional office role. I began at a senior living facility as a receptionist, quickly moving into a bookkeeping and HR role, then to Director of Admissions and Marketing. In this role, my responsibilities include social media management, creating print and digital media for marketing and in-house use, and assisting in employee engagement. I produce all of our ads, many of our forms, and create interactive games and activities for residents and staff. In college, I managed the campus Creative Arts Club and earned an award for Campus Involvement. With minors in English, history, and sociology, I taught several courses as an adjunct and have a solid background in research. I was accepted into a graduate study program at Villanova University, though the 2020 pandemic caused enough complications that I did not finish. At this point, I am eager to take on a new challenge. I want to see creators bring their content to life, engage their communities, and grow their market. Let's see what we can do together!

Writing

Hi, I’m Tarik - a scriptwriter, researcher, and creative collaborator with a passion for turning complex ideas into compelling YouTube content that people actually want to watch until the end. Over the past three years, I’ve written for channels that thrive off of making thoroughly researched, yet engaging content in the history, politics, and military niches, including TimeGhost History, World War Two, General Discharge, ThePresentPast, and The Korean War with Indy Neidell. My scripts have ranged from short-form explainers imbued with witty remarks to long-form political documentaries and historical breakdowns, generating tens of millions of views and thousands of hours of watch time. My writing style is adaptable but always anchored in clarity, engagement, and narrative rhythm. I love crafting strong hooks, intuitive pacing, and content that respects the viewer’s intelligence. Whether I’m writing about Cold War propaganda, elite military units, or the behavioral flaws of a fictional character, I aim to educate without sounding like a lecture and entertain without losing substance. I’m equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team. I’ve collaborated with producers, editors, researchers, and voice actors to make sure the tone, visuals, and message all align seamlessly. I’ve also handled video timeline prep, archival image and video clip sourcing, and editorial review for larger-scale projects like feature-length docs. Outside of history and politics, I’m deeply invested in the motorcycle world - as a rider, and more recently as a content creator. I currently ride an Aprilia RS 660 and actively follow the riding community, gear trends, and industry news. It’s a space I’m excited to contribute to through writing, strategy, and eventually video production. I also have project management experience through my work at the Social Sciences Research Center at International Burch University, where I’ve led EU-funded initiatives, coordinated international teams, and ensured creative and academic work hit deadlines without sacrificing quality. I’m fluent in English and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, comfortable working across time zones, and always open to trying something new - be it a format, topic, or creative process. I’ve incorporate AI and productivity tools such as ChatGPT, ClickUp, Frame.io, Trello, and Google Workspace extensively, and I stay current on AI trends, creator workflows, and YouTube algorithm dynamics. At the heart of it all, I care about good storytelling and proper research that will both entertain and inform. Let’s build something worth watching.
