Short Form Story Researcher & Scriptwriter for Science/Architecture

We're looking to hire a full time scriptwriter to join our team. We produce 7 short form and 1 long form video per week and you would join the team behind writing every one of them. The role is fast paced, we're growing rapidly and need someone who can quickly absorb our style and write on brand scripts that are ready to film. 

Ideal Candidate

  1. You've written educational content before and know how to make complex topics feel simple and exciting.
  2. You can take a technical subject and distill it into a compelling narrative with a strong hook, clear structure, and a satisfying payoff.
  3. You can research an unfamiliar topic and deliver a publish ready 70-90 second script within 24 hours without losing your mind.

Job Requirements

  1. Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English at a technical level.
  2. Obsess about finding the most interesting angle on every story. Take feedback well, iterate fast, and bring your own ideas to the table.
  3. Strong research skills, you can go from zero knowledge on a topic to confident, accurate, compelling copy quickly.
  4. Open to a full time role with no other commitments.
