YouTube Channel Manager / Production Lead (Full-Time, CST Hours)

About Us

We are The Watch Bros, one of the fastest-growing watch-collecting and entertainment channels on YouTube. Our content blends cinematic storytelling, high-production reviews, and long-form commentary to create a unique voice in the collector space. With a loyal and engaged audience, we are now expanding into new channels and niches. Our vision is to build a network of 2–3 YouTube channels that will scale into a broader media ecosystem.
This is not a coordinator role. We are seeking someone who has already managed large-scale YouTube operations, understands how to launch and scale new channels, and has the instinct to balance creative vision with data-driven growth strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Channel Management: Oversee all aspects of The Watch Bros channel and manage 2–3 additional launches and expansions. Own publishing cadence, optimization, content calendars, and release strategies.
  • Channel Launch & Strategy: Partner with leadership to plan, launch, and grow new YouTube channels from zero to scale. Develop frameworks for long-term success.
  • Cross-Platform Promotion: Drive audience growth by creating and executing cross-promotion strategies across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Shorts, podcasts, etc.) that funnel engagement back to YouTube.
  • Content Strategy: Shape video topics, formats, and storytelling approaches to maximize watch time and retention across channels.
  • Production Oversight: Manage editors, designers, and freelancers; streamline workflows; and ensure every video hits deadlines with polish.
  • Creative Direction: Guide visual style, pacing, and narrative tone across multiple properties while maintaining brand identity.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Monitor analytics and retention data, identify drop-off points, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Affiliate Outreach & Management: Build and maintain affiliate partnerships, oversee outreach campaigns, and manage integrations that align with the brand and drive revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership: Rally editors, writers, and animators around a single vision. Build pipelines that balance speed, creativity, and consistency.
  • Audience Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase subscribers, watch time, and engagement across multiple channels.

Must-Have Skills

  • Proven experience managing and scaling a large YouTube channel or multi-channel network.
  • Strong track record in channel growth, content strategy, and production leadership.
  • Expertise in YouTube SEO, metadata optimization, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to launch and grow new channels from scratch.
  • Comfortable managing cross-platform strategies that drive audience back to YouTube.
  • Operational leadership: pipeline building, workflow management, and multi-project oversight.
  • Comfortable leading remote teams across time zones.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in creative production (video editing, animation, design) with the ability to give precise, actionable notes.
  • Experience scaling a YouTube channel past 1M+ subscribers or in high-volume production environments.
  • Familiarity with paid advertising strategies to accelerate channel growth.
  • Deep knowledge of audience behavior across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Shorts, Podcasts).
