About Us

We are The Watch Bros, a rapidly growing YouTube channel in the watch-collecting and luxury storytelling space. With highly engaged audiences and consistently strong AVD (average view duration), we create cinematic, story-driven videos that combine deep expertise with entertaining delivery. Our content spans long-form videos (12–24 minutes), series episodes, and podcasts (25–40 minutes).
We are building a world-class editing team that can translate raw footage into polished, high-retention storytelling experiences. This is not a “cut and paste” editing job. We are looking for an editor with both technical mastery and creative vision who can elevate our brand through exceptional storytelling, advanced graphics, and cinematic pacing.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit 8 long-form videos per month (12–24 mins each) plus occasional podcast episodes.
  • Work from raw talking-head and multi-cam footage, applying:
    • Color grading
    • Sound design/mixing
    • Graphics integration
    • Motion graphics & animation
  • Research watch specifications and acquire supporting assets (images, clips, references).
  • Deliver within 48 hours per video with 1–2 revision cycles.
  • Collaborate via Slack, email, and periodic Zoom calls.
  • Work full-time:
    • Either 6 days x 8 hours/day OR 5 days x 10 hours/day (flexible).

Must-Have Skills

  • 3+ years of proven YouTube editing experience with strong portfolios in storytelling-driven, motion-graphics heavy content.
  • Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (and ideally, the entire Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong storytelling instincts: pacing, audience retention, emotional beats, and hooks.
  • High-level skills in:
    • Motion graphics & animations
    • Music track integration to build emotion and engagement
    • Color grading and sound mixing
  • Deep understanding of YouTube best practices including SEO, retention, pacing, thumbnails, and hooks.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in 2D/3D animation.
  • Familiarity with AI b-roll tools and emerging video tech.
  • Understanding of YouTube analytics and optimization strategies.

The Ideal Candidate

You are not just an editor. You are a storyteller and collaborator who:
  • Thrives in fast-turnaround, high-expectation environments.
  • Brings fresh creative ideas but also takes direction well.
  • Obsessively polishes details (frame timing, sound design, graphics alignment).
  • Lives and breathes YouTube culture. You understand pacing, style, and what keeps audiences watching.

Compensation & Growth

  • Trial period (30 days): $150/video, full-time workload.
  • Post-trial: $1,500/month base pay.
  • Bonuses: Performance-based incentives tied to channel growth metrics.
  • Clear opportunities to grow with the brand as we scale.

How to Apply

Please send us:
  1. A short introduction (why you are the right fit).
  2. Portfolio of relevant YouTube videos (motion-graphics heavy work preferred).
  3. Sample reels and/or edited work links.
  4. References if available.
🚨 Applications without a portfolio or YouTube-style samples will not be considered.
