I’m launching a new YouTube channel and seeking a skilled and creative video editor who specializes in dynamic, storytelling-driven edits similar to creators like Ryan Trahan or Airrack. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of YouTube pacing, humor, and audience retention, This is a long-term opportunity.

i would send in clips for a video or maybe a full video with no editing done aswell as a thumbnail photo, and you would have to edit them, no clickbait at all im focusing on being trustworthy in my channel, we would have to do 1-2 trial videos to see if your editing style is what im looking for.

Edit 15-30 minute YouTube videos in a fast-paced, engaging style

Incorporate relevant b-roll, sound effects, music, and motion graphics

Use zooms, subtitles, memes, and jump cuts effectively

Maintain a narrative flow with attention to timing and viewer retention

Deliver final files on time (preferably within 3–5 days per project) 

Proven experience editing YouTube videos (especially in vlog, challenge, or commentary formats)

Portfolio that demonstrates style similar to Ryan Trahan, Airrack, or similar creators

Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and YouTube trends

Bonus: Based in Canada, ideally near Toronto, Ontario

Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
