I first started videography after spending many years as a photographer. I was just curious so decided to try it out. That led to me gaining a huge respect for this art form and it also becoming my passion. I now have a degree in film production technology, 4 short films under my belt as a Director of Photography, one documentary as a Director of Photography, and also 6 BBC Introducing shoots as a Director of Photography including 2 live shows. Another benefit to me is that I own all of my own equipment. This includes the magnificent Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro 12k cinema camera. This would be one hell of a USP for YouTubers as the specs and capabilities of that camera mean we can create just about anything that you could imagine. It is an incredible slow motion camera as well, shooting 8k up to 120fps and 4k up to 240fps. I’m also a certified drone pilot so this just adds another layer of possibility on top.
