I come from a background that mixes product design with hands-on creative production. Alongside my work designing digital experiences, I’ve worked as a camera operator at the O2 Arena and with Slipstream TV, covering live events and fast-paced shoots. That experience taught me a lot about working under pressure, trusting your eye, and delivering when there’s no second take, all of which has shaped how I work as a designer. Whether I’m filming a live performance or shaping a user flow, the focus is the same: clarity, timing, and understanding how people experience what you’ve made. Working in live broadcast environments gave me a solid grasp of visual storytelling, real-time problem solving, and collaborating closely with a team, skills I’ve carried into design leadership and product delivery. What makes me different is the mix of creative instinct and practical delivery. I’ve led product work across health, wellbeing, and SaaS, and I’ve also operated cameras in front of thousands of people. That combination means I bring a wide perspective, stay calm in high-pressure environments, and care about the end result, whether it’s a live show or a shipping product.

I spent 25 years as an editor, producer & showrunner in reality TV. 15 years ago, I began helping the "stars" of my reality shows build out their social media profiles and YouTube pages. As many of these shows got cancelled, these people found new audiences in YouTube, and I came along with them. My clients have been weight loss experts, life coaches, woodworkers, real estate agents, mechanics, and just generally crazy characters. 5 years ago, I started up my own digital marketing firm - and have slowly transitioned into producing and editing YouTube videos full time. Greetings! I'm Jake and I love making videos and content as a way to express myself. My editing journey began with an Nominee Video for an award show in my hometown (Omaha NE) which sounds like a simple first project but proved to be a herculean task for a beginner editor. Omaha's population is almost a million people and there were a lot of artists nominated in this award show. I had to organize almost 500 different photos and add bumper animations throughout. It took over 90 hours of work but It was a great starting point to learn Premiere Pro. I was also getting my Degree in Graphic Design so that helped a ton, and from then on I've been creating ever since. I have 2 youtube channels where I make Vlogs, Music Videos, and coding tutorials. I also make vertical content on the side for real estate agents and a Beef Jerky company started via YouTube (Beefcake Jerky). I love cooking, music production, D&D, and trying strange foods, and being outside as much as I can. Some unique skills that translate to editing is my ability to story tell through cuts and voiceovers. Hi! I'm Matt. I'm an film & TV industry professional with a Bachelor's of Arts in Studio TV Production from Emerson College. My skillset includes: Livestreaming expertise Video editing Content creation Broadcast engineering I've worked in the live television and broadcast space for over 10 years, in genres ranging from news, sports, corporate and social media content. I have contributed to the growth of countless of YouTube channels in a variety of roles. In addition to this, I've also found time to create my own content on my channel @sweetboymatt3, where all the content is filmed and edited entirely myself. I'm a member of the YouTube Partner Program, accomplishing this in just under a year of building my channel.

I think what makes me stand out as a creative professional is that I don’t just make things to look cool. I make them to feel right. I like when a project has guts, when the design choices say something or serve a purpose. I care a lot about the why behind the things I build, whether it's a game level, a mechanic, or just the way a player opens a door. I’m the kind of person who rewatches a playtest five times just to figure out why someone got confused or bored. And then I fix it. My background is kind of a weird mix: game design and data science. That means I’m just as comfortable analyzing spreadsheets of player behavior as I am sketching out a puzzle on paper. I love the crossover between logic and creativity, where systems and storytelling meet. I think some of my best work comes out of that space. When I can use numbers to tell a story, or a narrative moment to shape a mechanic, something clicks. More than anything, I take a lot of pride in being self-aware. I actively ask for feedback, and when I get it, I use it. I like documenting my design process. What worked, what didn’t, and what I’d do differently next time, because it helps me grow. I'm not aiming to be the kind of designer who always gets it right on the first try. I’d rather be the one who listens, adjusts, and keeps improving.

Id love to help unique ideas become a reality! And while I dont have any experience Im a very quick learner and very eager to learn more about the process of content being made! I'm Ben McKeever — a YouTube-savvy production manager with a background in game publishing, creator-facing campaigns, and content strategy.
