Editor and Graphic Designer w/ 8 Years Experience

Greetings! I'm Jake and I love making videos and content as a way to express myself. My editing journey began with an Nominee Video for an award show in my hometown (Omaha NE) which sounds like a simple first project but proved to be a herculean task for a beginner editor. Omaha's population is almost a million people and there were a lot of artists nominated in this award show. I had to organize almost 500 different photos and add bumper animations throughout. It took over 90 hours of work but It was a great starting point to learn Premiere Pro. I was also getting my Degree in Graphic Design so that helped a ton, and from then on I've been creating ever since. I have 2 youtube channels where I make Vlogs, Music Videos, and coding tutorials. I also make vertical content on the side for real estate agents and a Beef Jerky company started via YouTube (Beefcake Jerky). I love cooking, music production, D&D, and trying strange foods, and being outside as much as I can. Some unique skills that translate to editing is my ability to story tell through cuts and voiceovers.
