Hi there!
I hold a Bachelor's in Design from the University of California, Davis.
Throughout the last 6 years, I have worked on both thumbnails, editing, and market research for a number of YouTube channels. Professionally I am a Graphic Designer, a career which over the last decade has helped me master both Illustrator and Photoshop with the skills to create compelling thumbnails.
My visuals are usually the forefront of the channel, from banner to profile photos, thumbnails, and even the video watermark, all organized to tell a cohesive story. Combined with an ability to write compelling titles and pinned comments, I was able to generate over 300,000 natural views on my hobby channel (Rocket League) over a period of just three months.
However, it is not just on the visual side that my skillset is best leveraged. I have also edited for small channels, and even done my own editing across gaming and educational content.
As well as gaming, I am passionate about sports, music, and writing. In fact, I am currently about 600 pages into what is growing to be nearly a 1,000 page sci-fi fiction novel. Feel free to ask me about it!

This video took the channel from hobby to ad revenue with over 80k views.
After only three weeks of posting videos it was the first major success, with over 5.6k hours of watch time and 1000+ subscribers gained from this video alone.
The most fascinating part of this project: the quality of the video itself.
Click the link and you'll see that the mic is poor and facecam design not yet finalized, this was before the branding of the channel was complete. Yet, that didn't stop the views rolling in! Because it was a combination of both something valuable to say and compelling marketing. Ultimately, this video succeeded because of the thumbnail and title. I hope we can get yours to succeed in the same way. -

For this project, I recorded both gameplay and replay files to create slo-mo video for the intro. I also utilized After Effects to create some compelling effects within the first 30 seconds that would indicate a high quality of content from the get-go.
This video ultimately gained 5.7k views, over 500 watchtime hours, and 100+ subscribers alone. Beating out the 10 before it in 24 hour growth.
