Video Editor with 4 years of experience, specialized in cinematic storytelling
Informations privéesDescription
I discovered video editing in 2022 while sitting at school, captivated by movie trailers and how they could make you feel something in just a few seconds. I downloaded CapCut and started creating small cinematic edits, then upgraded to Premiere Pro and turned a holiday trip to Wellington into my first real film. From that point on, I was hooked.
I’ve been chasing that emotional connection ever since, learning how to use music, pacing, and imagery to draw viewers in and make them feel something real. I specialise in dramatic, cinematic storytelling, but I love taking on any project that challenges me to grow as a filmmaker.
What makes me different is how deeply personal editing is to me. I’m young, driven, and constantly improving with every project, whether it’s a university short film like Doomscroll or something completely new. My goal is to complete my Bachelor of Screen Production and one day direct films that move people on a global scale.
I’m a passionate, detail-oriented editor who believes every frame, cut, and sound has the power to make an audience feel something unforgettable.

Doomscrolling, Lack of Community
En savoir plus
Doomscroll is a short film I created as part of a university assignment, where we were challenged to make a 1–2 minute film exploring the theme of community. I chose to focus on the lack of community in modern society, a story about how our connection to technology can slowly replace our connection to people. The film follows a young woman who becomes consumed by her phone, drifting further from her family and the world around her. As she falls deeper into the digital void, she begins to realise what she’s lost, the real, human moments that once grounded her.Driven by emotional storytelling, visual symbolism, and the powerful track Lux by Ryan Taubert, Doomscroll reflects the quiet tragedy of disconnection in a hyperconnected world.
