My video editing skills began with self-learning driven by interest. Initially, I practiced basic editing on CapCut by deconstructing film and television clips—such as the transition logic in the movie La La Land and the pacing of viral short videos on social platforms. Later, to break through technical bottlenecks, I systematically learned special effects compositing in After Effects (AE) and multi-track storytelling in Adobe Premiere, and even enrolled in online courses taught by industry experts. Alongside these courses, I completed practical projects like "brand commercial editing" and "documentary footage reorganization." During this period, I also worked as an assistant editor at two media companies, where I progressed from tasks like organizing footage and matching subtitles to independently overseeing the full-process editing of short video accounts. Through "learning by doing and improving by correcting mistakes," I transformed technical skills into editing thinking that aligns with the tone of the content.
