Informations privéesDescription
I am an experienced researcher and writer, most recently writing weekly scripts for Scary Interesting.
I specialize in writing properly cited, well-researched work on the fields of mystery, historical events, disasters, true crime, and anything historical. I can turn my hand to other fields, such as science and commentary. I have a PhD in emotion research and history.
I am also a published writer. My first book, A Human History of Emotion (also know as Homo Emoticus) was translated into more than 20 languages. I'm currently working on the follow-up.
I focus on showing not telling, writing scripts as narrative stories that drive retention and engagement and keep viewers riveted. I adapt to the hosts voice to make everything as natural as possible.

The Ferry That Sank in Raw Sewage.
En savoir plus
This was the story of the sinking of the Princess Alice.
For this project, I was tasked with finding the story, researching the events, and creating a narrative explaining what happened. Rather than just go through the events as matters of fact, I scoured old newspapers to find the accounts of survivors, telling the story through their experiences.
The script was c.4500 words and the process took me one day. I can do fast turnarounds.
