I’m a filmmaker and editor based in Cape Town with over a decade of hands on experience shaping stories across commercial, documentary, and narrative work. I did not come up through a traditional agency pipeline. I learned by doing. That means I understand the full chain from shooting on the ground to solving problems in post to delivering work that actually performs in the real world. That practical end to end understanding is what lets me move fast and make decisions that protect both the creative and the outcome.

What sets me apart is how I combine storytelling with systems thinking. I do not just edit for aesthetics. I edit for impact. Whether it is a commercial campaign, a product video, or a narrative piece, I am always thinking about retention, pacing, emotional beats, and how the final piece will land with an audience. Recently, I have been integrating AI driven workflows into my process and building visual systems instead of one off outputs. This allows me to help brands and teams scale creative production while maintaining a consistent high end look, which is still a major challenge in the industry.

I am also deeply invested in cinematic language and visual identity. My work pulls from a wide range of influences from high contrast filmic looks to experimental digital textures. I am constantly refining how to create images that feel modern but grounded. I care about tone, texture, and meaning in every frame. That carries through whether I am working on a high end campaign or a stripped back human driven story.

Where I bring the most value is in bridging gaps. I can operate as a one man production unit when needed handling camera lighting directing and editing or plug into a larger team and elevate the post production pipeline. I understand both the creative and the technical deeply and I communicate clearly with clients agencies and collaborators. The result is work that not only looks strong but is delivered efficiently strategically and with purpose.
