Hi, I'm Alex. I have been a YouTube creator for over a decade. I am self taught in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Premiere Pro. Running my own YouTube channel, I produce my own videos every week. I film with a Nikon camera, brainstorming ideas and making weekly content twice a week for my audience of 3k subscribers. I create my own graphics in After Effects or Canva. I'm passionate about YouTube and helping other creators strive. Hi! My name is Stevie, and I have spent the last 13 years working in customer service, which taught me a lot about communication, adaptability, and understanding people. Since I was a child, I have had a deep love for research; whether it’s diving into internet rabbit holes, discussing trending topics, or just learning something new for the fun of it. I’ve always been the kind of person who wants to understand “why,” and that curiosity naturally led me to the world of youtube commentary nearly a decade ago. In my free time, I’ve written several scripts based on TikTok-related dramas, Reddit related dramas, and more. This has been just a hobby so I could explain things I saw on the internet to my friends and partner, but the more I did it, the more I realised how much I loved the process. I have had previous experience working as a digital marketing content manager for a major animation company, and enjoyed discovering the interests of the community, and discussing what interested them. Now, I’m looking to take that passion and turn it into something more, ideally by working as a content researcher. While I may be just starting out in the industry, I’m confident in my ability to spot trends, gather the right context, and shape narratives in ways that are informative and engaging. I have 12-years of sound experience with ENG & cart-based work on documentaries, commercials, podcasts, branded content, and narrative film. I've worked a lot for YouTube and Fullscreen in various capacities. I started in post sound as a dialogue editor and foley artist at Private Island Audio and continue to use my learned post sound skills on short form content and live Pro Tools playback jobs. His work hasn't needed a line of ADR in the last 25 years and I believe that is because of his preparedness. That's why I read scripts multiple times, take extensive notes, make an excel sheet for wilds and effects needed, and contact most department heads prior to every production. Every department affects and is affected by sound, which is great a reason to have a positive, efficient and professional attitude. I record onto three different media simultaneously that's always backed up on a second running recorder (tentacle track E or MixPre3) just in case. Files are kept on average for four months unless otherwise specified. I own x3 Sound Devices mixers, x12 Lectrosonics lavs, x16 Comtek IFBs, x3 Smart Slates, Schoeps, Sanken and Sennheiser booms.
