I’m a creative video editor focused on crafting high-retention short-form and long-form content for social media, especially YouTube and Instagram testimonial-style videos. I’ve been developing my editing skills through hands-on practice, studying viral content structure, and breaking down what actually keeps viewers watching. Recently, I’ve been focusing on storytelling-based edits — turning raw interviews into structured narratives with strong hooks, clear transformations, and emotional payoff moments. I’m currently improving my ability to build engaging “hero sections” and retention-driven pacing that makes content more compelling from the first second. What I’m passionate about is transforming simple conversations into impactful stories that highlight real results and transformations. I enjoy working with content that has a clear message, especially personal growth, business, and creator journey stories. What makes me different is my focus on structure and retention rather than just visuals. I think like an audience member first, editor second — always asking: “Why would someone keep watching this?” That mindset helps me cut unnecessary parts and build videos that feel clear, fast, and engaging. I’m looking to collaborate with creators and brands where I can grow as an editor and help turn their raw content into high-performing, story-driven videos.

I'm a video editor who's spent the last few years at a marketing agency, cutting everything from short-form social to podcasts to TV spots. It's been a great education. I've learned how to work fast, hit deadlines, and make a piece look clean no matter the budget or the brief. I've also run a business's entire channel by myself, so I know what goes into a video beyond the edit. Lighting, cameras, audio, post-production, plus content strategy, thumbnails, and social media. I understand how the whole thing fits together, not just my piece of it. All of this experience has been great, but along the way I figured out where my heart actually is. I'd rather be making videos people watch because they want to, not because an ad served it to them. Entertainment, storytelling, the kind of content that keeps someone watching to the end. That's the work I want to be doing, and that's why I'm here. A few things I'm into: I love sports content, probably because I play a lot myself (golf and ultimate frisbee mostly). I'm also a huge car guy, so editing for channels like Donut, BigTime, Speeed, or Throttle House would honestly be a dream. And I grew up on gaming content of every kind, which is still a soft spot. Lately I've been really into niche long-form challenge videos. I started out in graphic design before editing pulled me in, so I bring a designer's eye to every cut. I'm comfortable taking a video from raw footage to finished, motion graphics and color included, and I work best with creators who care about the details as much as I do.
